چکیده
Bovine mastitis is a disease that concerns animals' welfare and increases the economic production losses. Bacterial agents such as Staphylococcus species are main causative agent of bovine mastitis. This bacterial expresses some inflammatory cytokines might enhance cell-mediated, which may promote pathogenesis The objective current study was to investigate innate immune response circulating levels pro-inflammatory anti-inflammatory cytokines. A total 10 mL milk specimens were collected randomly from 100 clinically mastitic cows, another 20 healthy cows considered control group for California Mastitis test. microbiological cultures performed. interleukins (ILs)that involved IL-4, IL-6, IL-10 detected using ELISA test evaluation pathophysiology. results this showed aureus detection in 31.2% 8.7% non-mastitic specimens; coagulase-negative 14.8% 18.7% specimens, respectively. IL-6 level shown significantly higher (P<0.05)in (194±12.8 pg/mL) compared (31±2.9 pg/mL). In conclusion, elevated expression cytokine with suggested be used potentially suitable biomarker early diagnosis

Klebsiella Species Associated with Bovine Mastitis in Newfoundland
Klebsiella spp. is a common cause of bovine mastitis, but information regarding its molecular epidemiology is lacking from many parts of the world. On using mass spectrometry and partial sequencing of the rpoB gene, it was found that over a one year study, K. variicola and Enterobacter cloacae were misidentified as K. pneumoniae in a small number of clinical mastitis (CM) cases from Newfoundlan...
متن کاملInteraction of primary mammary bovine epithelial cells with biofilm-forming staphylococci associated with subclinical bovine mastitis
Background: Staphylococci are recognized worldwide as one of the most important etiological agents of bovine mastitis due to their virulence factors such as their ability to penetrate inside mammary epithelial cells and their ability to form biofilm. Aims: The objectives of this study were to establish a model of primary mammary epithelial cells origin...
متن کاملIsolation, characterization and therapeutic potential assessment of bacteriophages virulent to Staphylococcus aureus associated with goat mastitis
In the present study, the therapeutic potential of bacteriophages virulent to Staphylococcus aureus associated with goat mastitis were isolated, identified and assessed. Staphylococcus aureus (host or indicator bacterium) was isolated from a goat suffering from clinical mastitis. Based on cultural, morphological, biochemical tests and amplification of S. aureus specific thermonuclease gene inPC...
متن کاملAntibody and cell-mediated immune responses to Staphylococcus aureus small colony variants and their parental strains associated with bovine mastitis.
Persistence of bovine Staphylococcus aureus mastitis may be associated with the small colony variant (SCV) form that is adapted to intracellular life and resists elimination by the immune system. This study evaluated antibody-mediated (AMIR) and cell-mediated immune responses (CMIR) to two bovine SCV forms and their parent strains isolated from cows with mastitis. Four groups of healthy cows, f...
متن کاملStaphylococcus aureus exosecretions and bovine mastitis.
The role of Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococcal exosecretions in bovine udder infection was tested by monitoring the cows' response to in vivo inoculation of bacterial exosecretions into udder quarters. Twenty Israeli-Holstein dairy cows were included in the study; two or three of the udder quarters of each cow were intracisternally inoculated with 0.04-0.05 mg/quarter (...
